Over the next few weeks Rebel Óg Coaching’s  Game’s Manager, Kevin O’Callaghan, and his team of GDAs will host a GAA skill’s test for Primary School 6^th class boys in Hurling in seven venues throughout the county.  This is the second year of this exciting new initiative that gives schools of all sizes a chance to demonstrate their skills. The school will need to send a team of 3 boys with all boys required to perform all of the skills and the team with the most cumulative points total emerging as winners.

Venues are as follows:

Dunmanway (West Cork Schools)

Cloughduv  (Mid Cork Schools)

Midleton    (East Cork Schools)

Meelin   (Duhallow Schools)

Castletownroche (Avondhu Schools) *21^st May

Nemo Rangers (City Schools)

Carrigaline (Carrigdhoun Schools)

Dates:

Regional venues = Wednesday 20^th May 4pm – 5:30pm (Castletownroche 21^st May)

County Finals = Wednesday 27^th May  in Nemo Rangers  4:00pm – 5:30pm

Munster Final (County Winner Only) = (17^th June) in Mallow GAA Complex

The Camogie Association are currently exploring the possibility of running a Skills Test for girls also on the same dates. More to follow in the coming days on this.

The Regional & County Winners will receive prizes while the Munster winners will receive a set of jerseys for their school.
